Certification Introduction 

SRRC, the full name of the State Radio Regulatory Committee, is a national institution responsible for managing my country's radio spectrum. It was established in 1998 and was formed by the merger of the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center. One of its main tasks is to manage imported and produced radio transmitters. If you want to sell or produce radio transmitters in China, you must hold a "Radio Transmitter Equipment Model Approval Certificate" issued by SRRC. This certificate will have a special model approval code, also called CMIIT ID, which indicates that the equipment meets national standards and can be legally sold and used in China. Therefore, only radio equipment with this special logo can be sold in compliance in China! Such regulations guarantee the quality and safety of radio equipment and protect the rights and interests of users.

Necessity of applying for SRRC certification

1. Only radio transmitters with my country's radio transmitter equipment model approval code can be sold and used in my country;

2. Legally sold in the Chinese domestic market;

3. Improve the competitiveness of products in the market and make consumers more trusting;

4. Avoid the risk of being investigated by relevant departments and facing the risk of being detained or fined, and escort the business operation of enterprises.

If the product does not meet the certification requirements, there will be several situations

1. The product cannot be supplied to the Chinese domestic market according to law;

2. The risk of being investigated by the market supervision agency;

3. The risk of being detained and investigated by the relevant market supervision department (or) fined;

4. The risk of being removed from the e-commerce platform.

SRRC certification test items

1. Transmission power: ensure that the power of the equipment complies with national regulations to avoid signal interference;

2. Occupied bandwidth (transmission bandwidth): verify the standardization and stability of the transmission signal;

3. Frequency tolerance (frequency error): ensure that the watch uses accurate frequency and does not deviate from the specified frequency band;

4. Spurious emission: suppress unnecessary electromagnetic waves and reduce interference with other electronic devices.

SRRC certification process

1. Data preparation: prepare and submit all relevant documents and product samples according to the requirements of the certification body.

2. Preliminary review: The certification body conducts a preliminary review of the submitted materials to ensure that they meet the requirements.

3. Product testing: Test the product in a laboratory authorized by SRRC (usually a national laboratory or an accredited third-party laboratory).

4. Report issuance: After the test is completed, an SRRC certification report will be issued and submitted for review.

5. Certificate issuance: After the review is passed, the certification body will issue an SRRC certification certificate.
