        The main changes of the new standard are:

        Product name and scope of application: The new version of the standard changes "computer monitor" to "monitor", and increases the energy efficiency requirements of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display and LED integrated display terminal.

        ◆ Certification standard: The new standard GB 21520-2023 replaced the old standard GB 21520-2015, and became the latest basis for energy-saving certification of displays.

        ◆ Revision of certification rules: China Quality Certification Center (CQC) revised the certification rules for display energy conservation and issued CQC31-452629-2023 "Certification Rules for Display Energy Conservation", which replaced the original CQC31-452629-2016 "Certification Rules for Computer Display Energy Conservation".

        Detailed changes in the new version of the standard

The conversion of all old standard certificates should be completed by May 31, 2025 at the latest; If it is not completed within the time limit, CQC will suspend the old standard certification certificate; For certificates that have not been converted on August 31, 2025, CQC will revoke the old standard certificate.

        ★ Annual review: For products that have been certified according to the old standards, the annual review must be completed after June 1, 2024. If the version has not been changed, the factory will not pass.
